Review:
In this second installment of the Demon Outlaws series, we land in a world that is broken and lawless. Things are not as they seem and Raven is accused of being a demon. Similar to the witch trials, the mob mentality is unjust and desperate to live, she flees. Blade is an assassin with a past. He wars with duty and the want of a new life.Both are running from mob justice and fall in together after he saves her from her stepfather who nearly killed her for being a half demon. finding something in each other in the process. Love is a choice...every act in our lives is a choice, especially fighting for what and whom we love.
This story was well written and touched on some very universal themes. I had not read the first book, but was able to slip in and sink right into the story with no issue.
